Where I Stand on the US Election & Elon Musk

2024 US Election

To my American friends... please watch the video above from well respected, adjunct Georgetown Law Professor and YouTube's largest legal channel, attorney Devin Stone, @LegalEagle.

I had planned to post a similar video as it's my duty as an American to say something and because my loyalty to this great country reaches far beyond any political candidate, but after seeing LegalEagle's video, he made almost every point I had planned to & his legal background, professionalism & influence is not only more impressive, but reaches much farther than mine, so no need to make the same video. I do however offer some of my own thoughts below on where I stand on the 2024 US Election as well as Elon Musk. As many of you know, my YouTube channel is largely centered around electric vehicles and the largest player in that game is of course, Tesla, so recent events involving Elon made it clear I had to say something. I know some of you won’t agree with me and I’m ok with that. What I’m not ok with is sitting by silently when a decision so incredibly important is upon us.

The Right Person for the Job

Regardless of which side of the political spectrum you fall, this election is more important than a single issue you might disagree with. I know I don't agree with everything Democrats support and have previously voted Republican on many issues, but no matter who you thought you wanted to support, I ask you to just watch and then do your own research. Don't just rely on your favorite "news" channel, specifically the ones paying out Billions of Dollars in lawsuit settlements for lying. Call me crazy, but they might not be giving it to you straight if they're settling for Billions.

If you're a Christian, like me, I ask you to look inside and really reflect on if the former President truly represents Christ and the bible's teachings. Does someone who partied with Jeffrey Epstein and has been accused by dozens of women over decades of sexual assault and found guilty civilly of sexual assault by a jury and ordered to pay $83 Million in damages, deserve your vote?

These are the main teachings of Jesus Christ. Do the following remind you at all of Donald Trump?

  • Love God.

  • Love your neighbor as yourself.

  • Forgive others who have wronged you.

  • Love your enemies.

  • Ask God for forgiveness of your sins.

  • Jesus is the Messiah and was given the authority to forgive others.

  • Repentance of sins is essential.

  • Don't be hypocritical.

  • Don’t judge others.

  • The Kingdom of God is near. It’s not the rich and powerful—but the weak and poor—who will inherit this kingdom.

Does someone who tried to overthrow our very democracy with a call for violence where multiple people including Police officers and a supporter of his died and make his own Vice President a target for hanging, deserve your vote?

Does someone who mocked the military his whole life, asked why they did it since nothing was in it for them and said those who died in war were losers, deserve your vote?

Does someone (a grown man in his 70's I might add) who mocks those with disabilities, deserve your vote?

Does someone who's been indicted on around 100 felonies (more than I can even accurately count) and been found guilty of fraud and business scams multiple times in a court of law, deserve your vote?

Does someone who's gone to the ends of the earth to hide his taxes along with where he gets his money from even when it comes to foreign influence and bribery, deserve your vote?

Does someone who's been indicted of stealing some of our country's most vital secrets, deserve your vote?

Does someone who doesn't even speak in normal words that make sense in the English language, deserve your vote? Plus, some of the stuff he and his devout followers say is just weird. I should add... Biden should have stepped down months ago as well. His faculties have diminished significantly over the last year and the right thing would have been to graciously step down.

When did "Christian Values" become a rallying cry for racism, Nazism, misogyny and bigotry? What happened to treating all people with love and respect and trying to make each other better?

I've traveled the country and world the last few years and have talked to hundreds of people from all walks of life about their support for him and they generally fall into 3 categories...

  1. They know he's not a good person, but at the end of the day, they think because they've grown up Republican and are against abortion and somehow they've been brainwashed that God wants them to vote Republican (I know, wild), that they have to. Here’s a great video from Catholic Priest, Father David, to those that think they have to vote for Trump because of abortion. Remember... there aren't too many people, including Democrats, that are… for abortions. They want a woman to have the right to ultimately make that determination on her own especially in cases of rape, incest or a doctor to do it if her life is at risk, but the vast majority of Democrats don't want abortion to be used as a form of contraception, but at the end of the day, allow a woman to make that choice. The vast majority of the country including a large amount of Republicans, agree. Also, the lie that millions of babies that are late-term and just about to be born are being killed is flat out… a lie. It’s less than 1% of abortions are considered late-term (past 21 weeks).

  2. They own a business and are willing to ignore all of the terrible lies, crazy things he says and terrible ways he treats others, if they can just save a few bucks on taxes and figure out how to pay their employees less, but work more. The guy who has literally bankrupted more companies than anyone, including a casino (which is almost impossible) and hides his finances is somehow more trusted on the economy?? Wild!

  3. He hates the same groups of people they hate. This is sadly the main reason and the one why most of them will just ignore all the craziness. A lot of this could be attributed to the fact that he targets the poor and uneducated, but overall, hate for the same groups seems to be the main driving force.

If you think this guy had any relationship with God at any point of his life outside of when he announced his first candidacy knowing he could hijack Christianity, the Republican Party and weaponize some of its followers for his own gain... you're delusional and in a cult. One day you'll likely look back and realize what a mistake you made supporting him like many of the January 6 rioters have. He's a compulsive liar. Even conservative judges, some of whom he appointed, threw out ALL court cases by him claiming election fraud in 2020. Rudy Giuliani and many others of his lawyers and supporters have been found guilty in a court of law since 2020 with many having gone to prison and/or have been found liable of large sums of money for lying about the election.

Every single issue raised in LegalEagle’s video or what I'm saying here can easily be verified. There's literally court records and video interviews that can be found online from legitimate news or govt sources (many of which I linked directly to), so saying it's just partisan speak, won't fly. That’s just lazy! You owe it to your country and family for that matter, to do your own research.

There's a reason he spent years grooming followers to avoid the media and only trust him. Do you remember the whole “fake news” thing he and his supporters screamed for years? Guess what? Those words haven’t been spoken in recent years cause he knows nobody will still believe it. Almost all of those same Trump political surrogates either work for CNN/MSNBC now or are regular guests with many of them now saying they could never support him again. This is what a cult leader does. Just watch any documentary on cults.

Was any other recent former president of either party indicted in any similar cases regardless of which party controlled the govt? No. Never. Although morally Bill Clinton was a POS himself.

Almost every single past president from both sides as well as appointments from his own previous administration, including many of the top military officials he appointed, have said he should never be allowed near the office of the presidency again and that he's a danger to our very democracy. Even many of his fellow Republicans have sounded the alarm. Heck, look at hundreds of videos from his current Republican supporters in govt and what they've previously said about him. When the cameras are off, many of them still say he's terrible.

Elon Musk

I also will be looking at my promotion of Elon Musk's companies and how I plan to move forward with that in the coming months. I love a lot about what Tesla and SpaceX are doing, respect the heck out of what Elon has built as a tech entrepreneur, still think my Tesla is the most advanced and fun car to drive on the planet and have sold millions of dollars of Tesla’s through the official referral program as well as outside of it and while having differing opinions on policy is normal and what's great about this country, what he's doing by trying to literally buy votes through a Million Dollar a day raffle in swing states is about as Anti-American as one can be. This would be the same if he was supporting Democrats. It's simply wrong, likely illegal, but most importantly, un-American.

Oh and for those harping on illegal immigration and the border... Yes, more could and should have been done earlier, but even when Democrats agreed to almost everything Republicans asked for, they were instructed by Trump to not do it as it would help Democrats in the election. So, again, he was willing to put himself before the betterment of the country. Remember... Elon and his brother are immigrants themselves and his brother, Kimbal, famously self-proclaimed them both as illegal immigrants although Elon said he was kind of maybe allowed to still be in the US as it was a “gray area” in a separate interview. I watched the interviews they said this on years ago and so can you at the above links where I linked to the exact part.

Also, I said it when he was trying to buy Twitter that he would be one of the most dangerous people in the world to own a social media company (that's been proven from a financial and social aspect) and while he says he bought it for absolute free speech, he has continually shown that's a joke and stifles it whenever he doesn't like it. Luckily, it's now littered with bots and spam, barely any advertisers, so very few normal people actually use it.

As of late he's also become one of the biggest sources of fake news and dangerous conspiracy theories. I'm not sure that's someone I want to give my support to through promotion or with my wallet. I do still plan to cover Tesla along with many other emerging companies in the EV, technology, outdoors and travel space (Tesla & SpaceX are also bigger than one man), but will likely be changing some of my content in the months ahead. Again, Elon has every right to support whoever he wants, but when he actively chooses to interfere with a free and fair election through misinformation, sharing racist posts or direct cash payments for votes, I have to really look at what I want to promote.

My Opinion

Finally... if you're one of those people who plans to say you don't follow me for my political views and instead for Tesla, camping, travel videos... Cool! This is the only time I've ever said one word about it and I plan to remove it after election day regardless of who wins, but I'm an American and just like every teacher, business owner, plumber, personal trainer or retail employee... We all deserve to have our voices heard and it’s my duty to use my platform for the things I most believe in. The idea that an American citizen can’t comment or have an opinion on issues in the US and needs to “stay in their lane” would only be uttered by a complete anti-American imbecile.

If you disagree with me and want to do that respectively, cool! That's what makes this country great, but I can't silently sit by while a fake Christian conman tries to remove democracy from this great country. Ask any older German person the consequences of that. If you don't want to follow me anymore because of this... that's cool too as you're probably not that self-proclaimed "patriot" you put on all your social media profiles or a free speech absolutist like you, or Elon, claim after all.

Oh and if you think I'm just some left wing shill, let me remind you that not one other modern day president from either side has even been accused of anything close to what he has been proven to have done. Not one has befriended our sworn enemies and praised dictators. I’d have to do a whole other post about how dangerous electing him could be for the people of Ukraine or the rest of the world in general. Not one has called for help to win an election from hackers of a hostile state. Not one has been found guilty of sexual assault or fraud. Not one has been accused of stealing top secret files and then lying to the FBI to cover it up. Not one. Even when Republicans had control of the Presidency or the House or the Senate and they could have went after a political opponent, they didn’t, because not one of them did anything remotely close to what he's done. He's not the chosen one, he's a lifelong known conman. Probably the best con artist of all-time. I often say this isn’t an election of policies, but a war on stupidity. How someone can believe such easily disprovable lies, is beyond me. Then I look at the people attending a MAGA rally and it all makes a lot more sense. Those people aren’t who I’m targeting with this post. Those people are largely gone with no hope. This post is for those that think they’re supposed to blindly support him, but deep down, know better.

While I don't agree with Vice President Harris or even my own MN governor, Tim Walz, on a number of issues... they're both responsible adults that care about every American (Democrats, Republicans and Independents.) She's also a legal professional who takes the oath of the office seriously, acts like a normal human being, doesn't say incredibly mean or embarrassing things, doesn't threaten political or business opponents, but most importantly... she puts the country ahead of her own personal ambitions. The former guy has already shown he'll sell the entire country out if it helps enrich himself. So I ask you to just go over all those things that he did which you yourself can verify and ask yourself this one question... if Barack Obama, Vice President Harris or any other political opponent of his did any of those things, would you still think they're ok? If your answer is no, I have to ask... do you actively root for the villain in Disney movies?

When you get into that voting booth... vote your conscience. The future of the republic depends on it.
